Thank you to everyone that visited my booth at Handmade Highland. It was such a fun event. That was my last craft show of the year. Now I will be focusing on updating my shop as well as my display at "Promise You Art House, 8830 Kennedy Avenue, Highland, Indiana.
Clear Quartz is an alternate birthstone for April and a less expensive option than diamonds, the traditional April birthstone option. It is the second most commonly found mineral in the crust of the Earth. It can be totally colorless and transparent, or show inclusions and some opaqueness. It has a Moh’s hardness rating of 7 which makes it able to withstand the stresses of everyday wear.
This necklace was made using a .22 caliber shell casing; Stainless Steel Box Chain; Clear Quartz Prism cut bead and Fire & Ice Quartz beads along with Clear Quartz micro-faceted rondelles and Stainless steel beads.
The clasp is a Stainless Steel Lobster Claw Clasp.
The Necklace is approximately 18" with a 2" Stainless Steel extension chain. The dangle is approximately 2-1/4" long.
It weighs approximately 0.3 ounces.
